A "likeometer" is a hypothetical number above someone's head that indicates how much they like you on a scale from 1 to 10. In a world with likeometers, when you look at someone, you can see how much they like you on that scale, and others can see how much you like them. However, people can only see ratings for themselves, not others' ratings for third parties. Likeometers adjust constantly. It is impossible for an individual to lie about or hide their likeometer.
