THS island nations including hurricane pause clauses
In August, Grenada became the first county to implement a hurricane pause clause on its bonds. These clauses postponed debt repayments in the wake of a natural disaster to increase liquidty for recovery efforts. Pause clauses would delay repayments but not cancel them.
