In a hypothetically just legal system, THBT person A and Person B should be punished equally
Imagine two individuals: Person A and Person B. Person A premeditates and successfully executes a murder using a knife. Person B premeditates an identical crime, but upon stabbing his victim the knife goes in at the wrong angle and the victim survives. For the sake of this debate, all other aspects of the crimes are identical.
