The Stargate Project is an American artificial intelligence (AI) joint venture created by OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle and investment firm MGX. Smaller partners include microsoft and Nvidia. The venture plans on investing up to US$500 billion in AI infrastructure in the United States by 2029. It was formally announced on January 21, 2025, by US president Donald Trump who plans to dedicate federal funding toward it. By the end of 2025, there have been multiple data centers who's construction has started under this project
