“Pink Feminism” refers to a rising trend in China, in which feminist organizations laden their messaging with nationalist rhetoric and imagery (e.g. highlighting Women’s contribution in the formation of the CCP, addressing how gender equality can fit within the broader economic goals of the CCP, etc.). These groups have continued to grow in largely online spaces.
